MLS shifts most Matchday 34 kickoffs for Halloween

MLS moved almost every Matchday 34 home kickoff away from Saturday night, with only Colorado Rapids keeping a late slot.

MLS is mostly avoiding Saturday-night kickoffs for Matchday 34 because Halloween falls on Oct. 31, and all but the Colorado Rapids chose to move their home game. Eight clubs shifted to Saturday afternoon and five to Sunday, with the full slate spread across both days. The article also notes MLS has the youngest fanbase among North American men's pro leagues, which may help explain the schedule change.
