Messi suspension canceled by MLS good-behavior rule
Lionel Messi will not serve a yellow-card suspension against New England because MLS reduced his accumulation total via its Good Behavior Incentive.
For fantasy managers, Lionel Messi (FWD, Inter Miami) avoids a one-match ban and remains available for the matchup with New England. MLS’s Good Behavior Incentive reduced his yellow-card total because he has had multiple five-match stretches without a booking, so the suspension from his fifth yellow does not stick. In Kickbase terms, that means no zero-minute week and his usual attacking ceiling stays intact. Risk: Low. Hold.
Fantasy Analysis
Messi’s availability preserves his full minutes upside for the next match, which matters because every 10-minute block still counts in Kickbase. With no suspension, there is no forced zero and no need to pivot away from an elite attacking asset. Keep him in your lineup unless a separate team-news issue appears.
