Cincinnati clinch playoff berth with 1-0 win over Philly
FC Cincinnati sealed a fifth straight playoff berth with a clean-sheet win, giving Roman Celentano a fantasy boost but no role change.
For fantasy squads, Cincinnati’s 1-0 win is all about the clean-sheet upside for Roman Celentano, GK, FC Cincinnati. Ayoub Jabbari’s 70th-minute winner sealed a shutout against Philadelphia, and the result also keeps Cincinnati pushing for a higher seed, which can preserve strong lineups. In Kickbase, every 10-minute block matters for keepers, so a full clean sheet is valuable even without attacking returns. Risk: Low. Short-term hold.
Fantasy Analysis
Celentano’s value comes from ceiling-plus-floor clean-sheet scoring, not from any change in role. Cincinnati’s continued playoff chase should keep match intensity high, which matters for defenders and keepers in Kickbase because a late goal conceded wipes out the bonus. There is no evidence here of a rotation threat, so he remains a stable hold for the stretch run.
