Carles Gil hits 100 MLS assists as Revs climb to second
Carles Gil reached 100 MLS assists and New England’s win locked in a top-four East finish, keeping his fantasy ceiling high for the playoff run.
For your fantasy squad, Carles Gil (MID, New England Revolution) remains a premium creator: his 13th assist of the season delivered the opener in a 3-2 win, and the Revs are now guaranteed home-field advantage in Round One. With New England chasing second place and hosting Messi’s Inter Miami next, Gil should keep seeing full attacking responsibility. In Kickbase, his assist volume and 90-minute security are the key scoring drivers. Verdict: Hold, and buy if he’s still available.
Fantasy Analysis
Gil’s value is reinforced by New England’s seeding push: a player driving chance creation in a team that still has something to play for is ideal for Kickbase. His scoring profile fits assist-heavy output, and the article gives no sign of reduced minutes. The upcoming home match against Inter Miami should preserve his attacking involvement, making him a strong captaincy-level hold.
